HotDesk transforms PropTech through a user-friendly platform for on-demand workspaces, enabling effortless booking of shared desks, meeting rooms, and private offices. The app boasts an impressive 100,000 – 150,000 downloads and around 600 bookings monthly.
Overview
Our digital vision is to revolutionize the PropTech industry by bridging gaps in the workspace market. We provide a comprehensive solution through Hotdesk, empowering users to seamlessly search, explore, and book a diverse range of on-demand workspaces. Whether it’s a shared desk, meeting room, or private office, our platform offers flexibility, allowing users to book spaces by the hour, day, month, or even a year with just a few taps.
Implementation
Our solution involved using Flutter for Android and iOS app development. The front end was built in Flutter, and the back end in Django. The key idea was to disrupt the PropTech industry with a new workspace booking application, offering flexible booking options, workspace details, diverse listings, easy payments, and efficient booking management. Weekly Flutter and team meetings ensured collaboration, progress updates, and timely releases with bug fixes and new features. Monthly meetings with the CEO provided insights into the company’s direction.
Results
Utilizing Firebase Remote Configurations for dynamic home modules, we empowered the product team with complete control over the app’s home page appearance. With nine modules, each with its API endpoint and pagination, the team could enable/disable modules and strategically reorder features for A/B testing. The outcome was significant, with an average of around 600 bookings per month, a boost in active users due to a highly unit-tested app, and an overall increase of 100,000 – 150,000 downloads.
